Roger Castillo is a writer/director specializing in cinematography born in The Dominican Republic and currently working out of Philadelphia, PA. Roger is a recent graduate of Champlain College’s filmmaking program. He has worked on numerous projects as a lighting technician and director of photography. His most recent cinematography projects include a documentary short on filmmaker Orson Wells shot on 16mm film entitled The Ireland of Orson Wells and a narrative short drama titled A Few Ruffled Feathers. Roger wrote and directed three films; a short drama, “Men Don’t Run,” a horror short, “The Lumberjack,” and another short drama, “With the Seasons” He is currently in Pre- Production for his next film.
In his pursuit to spread what he has learned throughout his filmmaking journey, Roger has worked as a teaching assistant in an accelerated filmmaking course in Montreal QC, helping students bring their vision to reality in all aspects of filmmaking.
